Because of its affordability and wide audience, marketers are increasingly using online 
channels such as social media, mobile apps, and direct email to distribute promotional information.
Traditional offline promotions, such printed coupons, may nevertheless be more effective 
than their digital counterparts at influencing consumer behavior in spite of these benefits.It has 
been observed that offline media increase consumers' perceptions of the marketed 
products and help them remember promotional content.However, there hasn't been much research 
done on the direct comparison of the effects of offline and online promotional media on 
customer behavior.
